Recommendations for skin care after IPL phototherapy

  • After the procedure and within the next 2-3 hours your skin will be pink. This is absolutely normal. To soothe the skin you can apply cold patches.
  • Do not scrub your skin for 7-10 days.
  • Do not sunbathe, do not visit a solarium, sauna or a swimming pool for 2 weeks.
  • Do not use retinol for 5-7 days before and after the procedure.
